NISSAN IN BLOOM
The 2023 season was a fresh start for Nissan in Formula E. Two new drivers, a new livery on the car, and full ownership of the team for the first time.
So inspired by the cherry blossom (or ‘sakura’) design on the livery, we came up with the creative platform “Nissan In Bloom”.
To launch the livery we drafted in 500,000 flower petals and 4 huge industrial fans, creating an epic film that kickstarted the season.

Throughout the season we worked with artist, Juan Alcalá Lara, to create posters for every race which were inspired by traditional Ukiyo-e printing style - and of course, cherry blossom.
We also worked to build the team’s social following. They are now by far the most followed team on the grid, with more followers than even Formula E itself.
We created videos that got millions of views, launched a TikTok page for the team, and invented our very own character; Mo, as in Nismo.
